This is the biggest quilt I've done so far and I just love how it turned out!!! I added motifs with hearts to the large squares, feathers circling them, and an over all quilting with hearts added to it. Sorry there is no full picture of the quilt. There are just sections of it, but trust me...it's beautiful. The fabric itself has glitter all over it and it just shines. I do hope that I made my customer very happy with this one. :)

the quilting really makes it

You did a great job on this. I bet it was really difficult quilting on that paisley fabric. While it is gorgeous I have a very hard time seeing what I'm quilting on busy fabric like that so I often feel like I am quilting blind. Especially when using a thread color that blends in.

Oh, it was. I would have to stop and look at it from different angles to see what I was doing. It gets a little distracting. :) I had chalk lines to follow. That helped me so much.

Very nice. How many hours do you think it took you to be confident about your free hand quilting? I read where it takes 400 hours to be comfortable with it.
