This is a customers quilt that I recently finished. It was a block of the month from our local quilt shop. She did a beautiful job with the piecing...and I think the quilting complemented it!

Oh my goodness! The quilting is perfect for the pattern, really enhances everything. After you get a quilt loaded on your frame, do you study it, and then plan what you will do? What is the process, I really would like to know? You do beautiful work.

Jackie...I knew that I would do each block with a different design. The rest was a puzzle and I did a lot of ripping, bu finally got what I thought was a pleasing design. I have to tell you, I did not see the total affect until it was off the frame!

The batting is Hobbs polydown...very low loft

I have to ask is it the way the quilt is laying or did you miss a line of quilting on the left hand row on the pinwheel looking block? Just could be these old eyes too!! |
