Just finished this little wallhanging. It's about 26" sq. The blocks finished at 4". Made it using a Civil War layer cake by Moda.

Thanks for looking!

I really LOVE your Civil War quilt. You did a super job. Can you PLEASE send it to me? It would be just perfect in my family room. OK, I understand. Can you tell us where you got the pattern?

I really like it. My first thought was WOW!!!!!

Ducky 10-10-2009 04:23 PM

Wow!! That's awesome!

dunster 10-10-2009 05:40 PM

That is such a pretty quilt! Sometimes civil war fabrics look kind of dull, but yours are vibrant.

mamaw 10-10-2009 05:58 PM

This is lovely!! I just recently bought some civil war fabrics. I have 2 different projects lined up with them for "someday''.
You chose great colors and like your pattern. I even like the background fabric you chose for your border.
Keep up the wonderful work!

Marcia 10-10-2009 06:08 PM

I LOVE it!!! Of course, I love all quilts that are CW---but this one is just packed with so much detail in such a tiny space!!! You just have to share the pattern name with us.

Mrs. Mel 10-10-2009 06:09 PM

I really like this. I'm having a hard time finding CW repros in local quilt shops for some reason. They look wonderful together.

Brazen 10-11-2009 08:05 AM

Awesome!!!! I love your little quilt!! I, too, saved the info on pattern and fabrics. Thanks for sharing your creation!

wvdek 10-11-2009 09:06 AM

What a lovely repro quilt. You have convinced me to use CW fabric in the future as I too thought it was too dull and boring. Not so with this little beauty. Thanks for sharing.

k3n 10-11-2009 09:08 AM

I LOVE CW fabrics and your wallhanging is beautiful Bear! :D

Now I'm off to check out that site.

From browsing through the website, it looks like she just has patterns. I didn't see any books. It would be nice to be able to buy a book with all those little quilts in them!

AkAngel 10-11-2009 10:51 AM

This is lovely, I've got on a kick with CW repros and Kansas Troubles fabrics
(some say the KT are CW's others say they aren't but they certainly have the same flavor). Thanks for sharing.
