I finished the top, and started working on the back. Amazingly, I still had quite a bit of the same fabrics leftover from the top, including the piano key border strips. I lacked just enough fabric that the back isn't the same exact square size as the top, so if I use it, I will have to lose some of the piano key border of the top, and it hurts to think about that! I laid the back out on the floor, and decided I like it too much for it to be a back! So now I have two tops to donate, and I won't have to trim the piano key border on the top after all. My next problem, of course, is that I need to find something to use for the backs!
