Nice bright quilt tops. Love that pattern, still have to try it....on my bucket list.

Love it! :)

Good call, that is way to pretty to be just a backing! I like them both, great fabric/pattern choices!

Thank you all again for the comments and opinions!

I just received my backing fabric in the mail yesterday, and it's in the dryer now. I am putting the binding on another quilt before I will get back to the D4P's. Darn! now I need more batting! And I just realized, I've never quilted anything quite this large on my machine! I normally stick to the 45" size projects. I hope the 60" isn't that much more difficult to maneuver! Sure wish I had a Long arm!

This may be coming too late, but I wouldn't cut the piano keys!
I would go back "one more time" to the fabric store, or search through my stash and add another border to the back ... if you are concerned that you won't get both sides "square" and even, then simply add one more width on the back, either side - - you will add "character" to your quilt, and no one but you will know that you had another plan <wave>

I absolutely love this quilt. Some child is really going to be happy to receive it.

Laurel Burch cats is such a terrific bright colorway. Love what you did.

I did decide not to cut the piano keys......still haven't quilted it yet, but I'm making progress.

Thank you all for the postive responses!
