What a beautiful quilt for your friend. She has my greatest admiration (as a retired 6th grade teacher) for surviving 30 yrs with 7th graders.....those RAGING hormones!!! I couldn't do it. Bless you both.

I taught 8th grade for 35 years before retiring in 2009 and I am really enjoying retirement, Glad you are too!
