I cut around each letter leaving 1/4 inch of the blue as seam allowance. |

I had a friend who made a similar quilt and forgot about the letters intersecting so had more letters than were needed so he did a word search puzzle on the back of the quilt. Neat idea for scrabble lovers.

This project can be extended to other games such as "Blockus," "Wheel of Fortune," "Monopoly" and more. Thanks for the heads up. You did a swell job, one you can be proud of. Also, someone asked how you made the letters - you could also have used permanent black marker to do this. Of course it, too, would have taken much time to make but it could be done. God bless you, and may this Christmas season find Jesus in your heart!
