After seeing the few that posted their "new baby", we ventured out today to get one for my daughter! WooHoo!!! She finally has her first sewing machine, a Brother SQ-9000 :) She named her Renesmee. BUT here's the kicker, if I want to use it I have to follow her rules :evil: :-( :mrgreen:

I know, tell me about it! She also has the fabric stash bug! When she picks stuff out I ask, what are you going to do with this? And she kindly says, I dunno, I might need it later on, just like what you do! That's all her new fabric stash and I have created a monster and I'll be broke shopping for two.

What a cute machine. Looks like there are two quilters in the house now. I love it.

Oh...exciting. Now she needs her own name on here and she can join the swap all by herself. tee hee

Now we don't have to fight over the sewing machine!

She's doing the Siggie block swap with me and at 11 years old, she's too young to register, but if I remember too, I'll be glad to post pics of her stuff :)

I guessing that by making rules she intends to take very good care of her new baby. Kinda like having rules about our scissors...NO PAPER!
