Daycare Naptime Quilt for Rylee
1 Attachment(s)
About three months ago I was going into a Burger King on post when I saw a missing quilt poster. Apparently a little boy that went to the daycare had a quilt his grandmother made for him before he was born taken soon after his nap. They never recovered the quilt so the lightbulb came on in my head when I arrived at my new job and found out my co-worker was pregnant. I decided to make her daughter Rylee a naptime quilt to take with her to daycare. One that would be hard to for someone to take from her. Mission accomplished don't you think?
(I just learned to resize and post pictures so I'm on a roll!) |
Not only mission accomplished, but it is adorable also!! I'm sure Rylee loves it.

Sooo pretty!
|
I love putting the name of the recipient on the front of the quilts.. There isn't a question on who the quilt belongs to.. and the person feels special when they see it..
|

adorable - and not one ANYone could call their own - good thinking! Plus, it will help the little one learn to spell her name
|
Very nice!!! All my grandkids had nappy quilts from Grandma that I embroidered their names on. Hard to walk away with someone's quilt when their name is on them like this beautiful on you did. I made pillow covers too. Your quilt is just darling!!!!!!

Adorable. Mission accomplished.
|
That should serve as a deterrent! Great colors and I love how you let the white space speak for itself. Thanks for sharing.

Shame on the thief and blessings on you for being so clever! And it is just as cute a bug. Not to young, not to old but just right.
|
