I have had this pattern for quite a while and have been collecting scraps of homespuns to finish it. Well, a snowy December certainly provided the inspiration. I started the little wall hanging at our group's November project day and then modified a pattern for the table topper.

The buttons took longer to sew on than the piecing did!! Also I ripped the whole thing apart to add the cornerstones because I couldn't get it to line up properly otherwise.

I love buttons on quilts. These are Darling. Must have been lots of fun to make. :-)

Great projects love them! I have a tub of homespuns that keep holloring for me to do something with them.

Oh so nice! Any info you can share on the table topper. I love hand embroidery...
