This is so fantastic, she is going to love this. Makes wish I was a little girl again......not. lol

karenm36 12-19-2010 08:16 AM

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! This is beautiful! Could you possible take some more pics at different angles (a little more close up) so it would be easier to see the scale of it all and the details of everything? This is just fantastic! And did you make the wooden store yourself as well? I would love to be your grandchild! This will certainly be cherished for years and years to come!!!! :-)

the shop itself I bought from an auction house here in switzerland. The great thing: one can remove the square section in the back. On the other side is a curtain and it is also theater for puppets. Thankfully there were half a dozend puppets included!

As for pics for details: I posted several topics whenever I finished a section. If you go to my topics you find all the detail pics.

lawsonmugs 12-19-2010 09:32 AM

One more thing will he be giving discount coupons for his store like hobby lobby and joanns? put me on his email list. lol I watched you making all these foods etc. out of fabric but didn't know till now why. Thanks for sharing all of this Mary

annieshane 12-19-2010 10:02 AM

This is amazing. How creative of you to put this together. Start of a new entrepeneaur (sp)? Do post pictures when the shop is open. Would love to be there to see you DGS's eyes when he sees this. Do hope he spends lots of time with you.

Granny 59 -

What you have done here is nothing short of amazing. I have loved watching your posts as you finish the individual fruits and vegetables. I agree that a few close-up shots are in order. We'd love to admire the whole family all together!

Darren

BTW - what's the story on the cabinet? Is that homemade too?

sewred 12-19-2010 10:34 AM

My girls would kill for this WOW!!

SherriB 12-19-2010 10:54 AM

Your little DGS is so lucky!! Not only does he have an awesome store filled with all kinds of goodies, but he has even more wonderful and loving grandparents.

colleen53 12-19-2010 10:58 AM

I have followed you from the beginning and I am so awe struck.. you are amazing and how fun to create such a place for your gs... i too would love to see a pic of his face upon seeing this..

mom2boyz 12-19-2010 11:00 AM

This is truly amazing. When my grandchildren were young I kept a huge tub of toy dishes, fake food, play money and menus and placemats made on the computer They spent hours and hours playing "cafe". Now some of them are in college and still comment on the cafe experience. (They would always fight over who got to be the cook. They would have loved this set up and I would love it now. I am new to this board and will have to try and find your other posts. I love this!! Oh, they also used a little hand help calculator to learn how to make change.

clem55 12-19-2010 11:20 AM
