This weekend I was able to get the top half of my bargello finished. I have the second half all cut into strips so now I just need to separate them, sew the pieces into full strips and then join my 53 rows. Sounds simple but I was surprised how long it took. I'm going to do the borders in off white, chocolate and the flowered print.
Just noticed DD was holding it upside down but you get the idea. |

I will be honest, I haven't been a total fan of bargello ... then I see one like this and say yessssssss!! I will be doing one sometime .... and keep watching to learn what patterns and fabric combos that are the ones that I like. Yours is definitely one of them! |

Very pretty! I love the bargellos but still trying to work up the nerve to try one. I did a simple scrappy bargello off the internet but it doesn't look anything like this!
