I love the polka dot border. A narrow black border, then a polka dot or the floral fabric might look really good.
I like the look of a black, narrow focus border. I think it would frame it beautifully. I love that quilt top!
I would use a small black border and then a larger polka dot border. It's a beautiful quilt.
That is exactly what I was thinking, thin dark inner border and dot outer border. The black so brings out the designs in the prints. Please post when you are finished. It is classy quilt.

I think I would use a narrow black, then the dot, then bind back in black. Your quilt is really neat. I usually don't like dots, but this is wonderful use of them, may have to invest in some dots. thanks for sharing.

I agree

i would use a narrow black border to frame it then the wider one floral or dots whatever you like
but a narrow border would set it off |

For some reason the colors look "yucky" when photographed, but in "real life" they are beautiful golden browns and blacks all with glitter. Now, I have put 2 options for the borders: one with poka dots one with black Once again, I would like your opinions and on Monday I can finish it up. Thanks again for previous and future help. I just love this group. Karen |

the black is tooo black, a narrow border like 1/2 to 1 inch wide with either the polka dot or the floral would look best, I think.

the darker one gives it a nice frame....
Please, use the black.

I think a narrow black border and then a wider polka dot border would look nice. The quilt is very nice.

It looks great! I like the black border but think I would make it a 'zinger' then use the polka dot with black for the binding.
i love that idea
If you have more of the floral use it for a narrow border, then black. If not a narrow border of dots then wider black.
I think black...
I agree black and then if you want the polka dots, use them. But the black makes the quilt pop. Otherwise it just sits there and blends.
Love the dots.
I agree with Lady Tapioca and Eddie --- a narrow black with polka dots on the outside border.
I like the black!
I would do a narrow black border and a wide polka dot border.
Maybe try a narrow black border. Then the wider dot border with black binding.
Why not one row of each border?
black

Do you have more of the dark fabric from you top? Else I like the narrow black border.

I LOVE it! I agree with others, narrow black with polka dot brown on outer edge. Will be a standout!

Lovely quilt!! |
I like the dots! Very nice work.
