Absolutely beautiful, you did a wonderful job!

Maureen 07-22-2012 06:56 PM

I see a ribbon coming your way!

AnnaF 07-22-2012 07:14 PM

I wish for sure I'd get a ribbon but since its really a pretty simple quilt and considering the astounding talented quilters that enter quilts in our show I honestly am just thrilled that I got it finished in time to enter, I have a huge stack of UFO's like most of us do but decided in May that I would support our show this year with an entry. It will exciting to actually have a quilt hanging there. Really was nice to actually finish one from start to finish!!!

Very nice use of contrasting colours. It's a beautiful quilt, very crisp and clean looking. Thank you for sharing.

It really does. In fact, I wouldn't have thought it was a DP9 if you hadn't told me it was. This is beautiful in every way! The colors are so unique & the quilting is just spectacular! I love it! And hey, better late than never!

Couldn't agree more. Amazing what a difference the on point setting makes with this pattern. I don't recall ever seeing a D9P set on point, and I really like the look of it. The quilting is also very nice, did you do it?

Have fun at the show. There is nothing more satisfying than to see your own quilt hanging up. It is so much fun. I like to hover around and listen to peoples comments. LOL

carslo 07-23-2012 07:13 AM

AnnaF, is the quilting design your own, if so do you sell the pattern. I love how nice it looks and would like to give it a try.
I make charity quilts and a few for family as needed but should expand beyond my usual meander.

The name of the panto is Royal Plumes by Judy Allen, and it's a favorite of mine. It's a wide panto at 16.5" so unless you have a 24" throat on your longarm (and that requires some tweaking) or a 26" throat you'd not be able to do it.

ladypetite 07-24-2012 10:16 AM

Beautiful! I love everything about it!

Latrinka 07-24-2012 11:00 AM

Really gorgeous quilt, love the colors!

MargeD 07-24-2012 11:15 AM

Beautiful. I'm about to make my first D9P for a baby quilt and I hope it comes out as nice as yours.

blueheavenfla 07-24-2012 04:39 PM

You have STYLE!!! A touch of old with a whole lot of modern look to it. A great accomplishment! It is just what I would like to be able to accomplish, also.

katesnanna 07-24-2012 10:12 PM

What an exceptionally spectacular quilt. I award you the title of "Quilter Extraordinaire".
