Disappearing Triangles
1 Attachment(s)
I got this pattern at "The Quilt Merchant " in Illinois. It is a copy of an antique quilt she owns and displays at her shop.
Gorgeous! Love your background color.
What a wonderful quilt. I love when people bring antique patterns back to life. The cheddary background is timeless in this beautiful creation.

Great quilt!
Love this! What a great exercise in sorting color and value and a fantastic use of scraps. I too think the cheddar background really gives this quilt an unexpected pow factor.
excellent quilt, sweet inspector.
It's a beautiful quilt.
great quilt
Great looking! Love cheddar as a wow background!
Love the cheddar background. What a great way to use up some of those scraps.
Being someone with pet allergies I am astonished by the cat sitting on the quilt.
If you roll that top with a lint roller you too will be amazed at the amount of your quilt inspector that is left "behind" And that's just the hair you can see. |
This is wonderful!
Wow, very nice!
Nicely done. Great colors.

Wow, wow, wow, that's a whole lot of work! Beautiful!
very nice quilt!!!
very lovely quilt
Lovely....
You may have inspired my next scrap quilt, this is so striking!
I, too, love seeing older quilt patterns brought back. Your cat is adorable. He looks like he's laughing!
My cat is laughing. I beg him to move over so I can take a picture. That was his reply! This didn't even make a dent in my scraps but that is fine because I would rather play with scraps that cut my hoarded yardage! I so love to quilt!
beautiful. love the color. i'm so glad you decided to give the quilt to your cat. He deserves it!
Wonderful quilt and it seems your quilt inspector approves too.
A gorgeous quilt.
Wow!! That's a lot of scrsps! Looks awesome
Turned out very nice.
I really like your cheddar background. It was such an important color for antique quilts and I am so glad to see it come back into quilting fashion. You have combined it so beautifully with the contemporary pattern. So pretty.
Oh, so pretty! I like a color for the background--just don't like quilts that are too white!
I think that is a type of "1,000 pyramids", designed to use even the smallest of scraps. I have found even pieced triangles(tiny as they were) on antique quilts.
Beautiful quilt!

Wow, that's a lot of little bitty triangles. Well done, it's an amazing quilt!
Your quilt is wonderful and I echo everyone who loved your choice of background color.
Could you give us the name of the pattern and the shop, please? Thank you Oops, just went back and read what you wrote about the quilt and there is the name of the shop. I will do a search for the pattern. |
Wow that's a lot of triangles! Great job
I love it. It is so much an antique also. Very pretty.
