What great kids. What great quilts :XD:

Thanks for all the nice comments. I do have one more thing you might like to know. This size cost a little over $300.
(I have 6 kids so that wasn't too bad per child!) |
That is quite a show piece! Just changing out the quilts will change the look, Christmas quilts for the holidays, etc. Great way to display your work.

I just received mine from Penney's and if I had to pay full price I would have sent it back. Workmanship quality was not the best.
Oh man!!!! That is lovely. Where did they ever find it? I've never seen one like it. I need about 5 of those. Do they make them bigger???/ Lucky Gal!!
great idea - I'd love one!
I love those chests. A friend has one of the super large ones, will hold up to 40 quilts. But for her she needs it as that is about the number of quilts she does in a year. At Christmas her kids and grand kids all get quilts.
I saw one of these at a quilt show and hated myself for not buying it, but there's a quilt show in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping the lady is going to be there, it's going to be a late xmas present to myself...
ooooooooooooo More Treasures!! I would LOVE to get my hands all over those!
That is on my Christmas list for next year...
Great idea for storing. I will put that on my wish list!

My chest is made by "Kerry's Collectibles" in New Brunsfel, TX. He has a web page. I added the city name after my search "quilt chest with glass" and they popped up at the top of the list.
That is gorgeous. The quilts are also....I should send that picture to my brother and let him figure it out and make it for me for next christmas.......wouldn't that be a trip!!!
I have one just like it! It's beautiful. There's a man that comes to our annual quilt show and brings different styles. He comes from Texas. My father-in-law saw mine and made one for his wife. He acid etched her initials on the glass. Cool. Now she wants another one but a different sytle.
I bought one at the Midatlantic Quilt Show a few years ago. Filled it up so fast I had to buy another one the next year! I'm glad to see they are still being made as I may need another one soon. Made in Texas, right?
