That is beautiful. Can you tell me where they got it from?

I'm sure if you took the pattern to an Amish workshop they would make you a work of art to be proud of!

A great chest with quilts in it. The gift is perfect for any quilter. How special for you.

My Dad made me one of these, he died 16 years ago on Jan. 5th. He worked a lot with wood, sooo i have a few things he made that I can pass down, including a grandfathers clock, the kids have been fighting over for years and I'm not planning on dying anytime soon.

A vendor at the Piedmont Triad quilt show in Greensboro,NC , was taking orders on custom building these last fall. Well made. My question is this: I was advised by a certified quilt appraiser from Roanoke ,VA, to refold my Amish quilts periodically to avoid wear on the fabric and batting. This would be difficult with large pieces in that style display case. Any thoughts?

Great gift! I would love one but I saw it at a quilt show and they were pretty expensive. Worth it but of course I didn't want to drag it home so........
