Darn - can't read it well. Anyway, it's ages of mfg for Singer machines. Let me know your serial number and I'd be glad to look it up if you can't read it. I'll try to retype it for a computer formet.

What a treasure!
I have one also, needs a belt. My # is G229402, :D |
Lucky, lucky girl! Especially since it was in your family. I know you will treasure that beauty!

OOOhhhI'm drooling. You are so blessed to have that machine. Please read up on internet anything you can before cleaning, restoring, using. You don't want to wash off the beautiful decals with harsh soaps or abrasives, and check e-bay for the additional drawer and belts, etc, and when your electricity goes out, you can still quilt!!!
I so wish I had my grandmothers treadle. It was just beautiful. My DS sold it back in the 80's because she needed money. When I heard that, I could have creamed her.    :-( Enjoy and take good care of it. |
OMG its just stunning. what a wonderful inheritance

What a beauty. And to have a machine with that family history. What a wonderful gift.

What a great machine, but the story behind it and the family connection make it priceless  ENJOY
