Those are neat--I am making pinwheel mug rugs today!

they look like quilts to me!!! just little ones :)
a quilt by definition is 3 layers held together with stitching--that's it---there are no rules that say it's not a quilt if it isn't a certain size- your mug-rugs are wonderful little quilts! don't put your work down- they are wonderful.
and lots of quilters never make a big quilt--they like little projects
