Luv the star, not sure about the black border, find it a bit too strong. But hey, I like to experiment and it's all about the artist's expression. Good work.

I like it. Will you be using different autumn colors for each star or did I understand you to say they would all be alike? I like the pattern and the background; but I think i would like different colors for each star.

All but the black. I like the Autumm colors.

It looks fine to me. Something a little different and looks like it floats.

I quite like it! It makes me think of Halloween (which I love!)

I like the block, especially the float. Do have a question, how did you do the flowers that are under the block? That looks interesting.

That was from a Frieda Anderson class that I attended. The only quilt kit I have ever purchased. I traced her coneflowers and then went in later and defined everything with quilting and colored pencils. If you ever have a chance to take a class from Freida I suggest you do, she is knowledgeable and fun, not to mention that her quilts are beautiful.

I wondered what the flowers were done with. I just found Inktense Watercolor Pencils by DerWent-(spelling?)-they are a permanent watercolor pencil. After they are wet and left dry they really are permanent. I colored some flowers, wet the pencil marks, left them dry, and then did a transparent wash in the background with Seta color paint. The pencil did not bleed when re-wet.
