I'd use it as backing on something, but I wouldn't make blocks with it.

absolutely adore ,and usually hate orange-----love the first and pumpkins best.

Wow, love that fabric, would be awesome for fall wall hangings, potholders, placemats, table runner, table cloth.

Would be awesome to make a nice kitchen set of cool projects.

The "busy" fabric would make a GREAT One Block Wonder!!!

mrsmail 02-11-2010 12:17 PM

Oh, I love them all. They are gorgeous.

Marguerite 02-11-2010 12:28 PM

Depends what you're using it for

GrammaNan 02-11-2010 02:42 PM

I love busy fabrics for the center of squares and borders. These fabrics are beautiful and will make a wonderful quilt.

That "busy" one might be interesting in a obw or stack and whack .......how far is the repeat ?

yes its busy, but if you fussy cut it you could tone it down a little. but it is very pretty. every one has different taste,so what you like some else might knot.

gwena 02-11-2010 04:46 PM

I wouldn't cut it up and piece it back together but rather machine quilt around each of the major items to make them pop out and then add several borders.

schwanton 02-11-2010 05:19 PM

I like it. It would be fun for snowball or square in a square. Always fun for a quilt back! Go for it.

earthwalker 02-11-2010 05:23 PM

I like them....but then my "inner minimalist" is well smothered most of the time!

SewExtremeSeams 02-11-2010 08:43 PM

Love your fist picture. Which line of fabris that? Depending on what pattern you are using for your quilt you could tone it all down a little with some solids from the colors in the first picture and really do a lot with it.

Thanks for sharing.

POosterman, I love the way you used the print fabric. None of it looks too busy to me. I find that if I lay the fabric on something, like my couch, and stand way across the room... they look more like various shades of color rather than focusing on the busyness of all the fabrics.

zz-pd 02-11-2010 09:42 PM

I think if you used sold fab as border it would not be bad, I like the fabric.

adrianlee 02-12-2010 10:32 AM

I love the busy. Please share the project photo when you are done. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful work.

Jshep 02-12-2010 10:53 AM

I think the first one would make a good wall hanging

Oklahoma Suzie 02-12-2010 03:16 PM

I love them all.

marla 02-17-2010 11:28 AM

That fabric would be very nice for a journal, sewing organizer or something of that nature. The contrasting fabrics could be used for pockets andbinding.
