The only 'problem' I can see with getting your quilt finished is it looks like your helper is taking a break. LOL! Don't worry, we all have 'quilters block' at one time or another, it's unfortunate that it usually comes when you're trying to finish something for someone else. sounds like you've been pretty busy doing for others, maybe planning YOUR next quilt will get you thru this one . Great work by the way!

It's a great "problem" to have! Cats love a quilt more than they love catnip, that's for sure!

Welcome, from Northern California! Boy do I have that same problem. My husband built me a beautiful quilting frame and fortunately made it so that it can be tilted almost fully vertical, because the couple of times I left it level, my cats thought it was the most wonderful hammock in the world. And then I had to restretch the quilt because they weigh so much they loosened the clamps. LOL

My two cats aren't allowed in my sewing room. It doubles as the guest room and we have several family members that are pretty allergic. Me included, go figure. So, the kitties are only allowed in the living areas and kept out of all the household bedrooms. The allergist said this would help me and it really has.
