I don't do this, but what a great thing to do. Thanks for the idea and sharing. (no waste in quilting/sewing) And the birdies will love it.

that is a great idea. I've just thrown them outside and they probably end up in my neighbors yards. I will be using this really soon.

Love this idea. I knew I was saving those bags for something! Last spring I was brushing (rather than vacuuming later) the excessively shedding fur of my cat out on the deck. I left the clumps of fur out there. Shortly afterward, I heard a very insistent bird call and looked to see what the racket was all about. It was a tufted titmouse shoving the first clump into it's beak. It flew off but returned over and over until all the fur was gone. What a warm cozy nest that must have created!
