Not necessarily so! Perhaps you could make modifications to suit their ages. Or, if your GDs are very much into their adulthood, they might like it just for the whimsey!

Hi! Patti I make a lot of doll items for children in my town and also a member of quilted paradise and saw your doll dresses quilt ofor olivia and I was wondering if you would the patterns for your dresses and how you did the beautiful embellishments. They are absolutely awesome. If you decide to send them my e-mail is:
Sews @riolink.com and my name is Sandee. If for some reason you can't get to this e-mail I also have another site at:
[email protected]
Thank you if you decide to do the asking question

Hi Sandee......thank you for your interest in the quilt! There must be a word missing or something because I'm not quite sure what you are asking. I would be happy to help you!! Patti

That is a great quilt-- remember to be careful with the buttons. Make sure they are SECURED so your little girl will not choke on one if she gets it off. I will have to learn to read ALL of the messages. It seems I am not the only one to worry about buttons.

Thank you for your concern........like I have said before, Olivia won't get this quilt until she is much older!!!! Thank you again, Patti

What a clever idea. That made those so very cute and unique. Thanks for sharing.

Scrapquilt 01-18-2011 06:53 AM

Gosh I wish I had a granddaughter. That quilt is adorable and you did a great job.

Catherine Marie 01-18-2011 06:58 AM

The people on this board never cease to amaze me. The ideas, talent, passion, generosity. This WIP epitomizes all of these qualities. Thank you so much for sharing your work. Some people are reluctant to show others their ideas/projects for many and various reasons. So glad that you are not hiding your light under a bushel basket.
