Dolphin quilt

Finally finished a dolphine quilt that was a special order quilt for a little girl. She and her mom picked out the pattern, it was a wall hanging that I made larger, they also picked out all the fabric. I had so much fun making it, I think I might just make another so I can enter it in the Bennington Quiltfest this coming fall. The dolphin was done with straight line piecing. I am hoping that my pics will actually post, it says that they are attached so here's hoping...

no, it is straight line piecing from a book on it, I do not have it here with me at the moment. No paper piecing involved.

Your quilt is amazing! The colors are perfect and the dolphins beautiful! I loved watching the dolphins swimming along-side the boat when I used to sail in Florida.

Great job. The dolphins are wonderful and I do hope you post the book title. I also hope you make another for Bennington quiltfest. I go every year and have entered once or twice myself.

OK, so the pattern came from the book "Go Wild with Quilts ~ Again" by Margaret Rolfe, 10 new bird and animal designs.
