My lady friend, who does my long arm quilting, on my quilts. She called me, and said I can go and pick up my grdkids quilts around 4:00pm. I guess what I'm asking is what can I call the quilt, I'm going to post a picture of. Its nothing fancy. Just sq's and 1/2 sq triangles. I'm makeing a name tag for their quilts. My grdaughters quilt I have a name for it. It's my grdsons, I need a name. Thanks to everyone. Take care Don-isewman

What is your grandson's first name? How old is he? That might help in coming up with a name for his quilt.

Are the blocks dark green like they appear on my monitor? Looks like "forest pathway" to me.....

PenniF 04-10-2014 03:18 PM

How about "How Green Is My Valley".....or "Green Green Grass of Home"..... they are both beautiful...but your quilts always are Don.

nativetexan 04-10-2014 03:24 PM

Oh, Night and Day is what came to my mind.

JuneBillie 04-10-2014 03:44 PM

They are very pretty quilts. I could see the one as having little paths or trails. Logan's Trail?

Theses are both good ideas

Also Great quilts I like both a ton.

JuneBillie 04-10-2014 06:08 PM

Another idea is 'Turning Corners'. I have no idea why. lol...

BETTY62 04-10-2014 06:21 PM

How about Logan's Rainbow since it has so many nice colors in it.

nanac 04-10-2014 06:39 PM

Don, all of your quilts are outstanding. I saw one a few weeks ago, one of the blocks was a Winchester Cathedral block. You very nicely provided us with the name of the block, and where you got it from. So, I bought the book, and am planning on making one similar to yours. Just hope mine turns out as well as yours did.
Your grandkids are lucky to have someone who loves them enough to make these quilts. They will cherish them forever. Keep on a-keepin' on :)

Grandma58 04-10-2014 06:40 PM

I vote for Logan's Trail!

Sorry can't help but gorgeous quilt.

GailG 04-10-2014 07:47 PM

The autumn quilt is amazing, but the simplicity of the alternating squares and HSTs is wonderful. That one will need to go on my bucket list. Yes,, I agree...Logan's Rainbow or Logan's Trail are really good ideas.

Daylesewblessed 04-11-2014 03:25 AM

I like "Logan's Trail" too, or how about "Grandpa's Road to Logan"? Any title with his name in it is sure to make him feel special.

joyful1 04-11-2014 04:37 AM

Great job on your grandchildrens quilts. They will love them!

earthwalker 04-11-2014 04:41 AM

Don, your work, as usual, is not just beautiful, but outstanding. What a lucky family you have..."Logan's Trail" does sound really good, but whatever you decide will be just perfect.

gabeway 04-11-2014 04:44 AM

Reminds me of my grandsons Legos. Could be "Lego Dreaming ".

gramqlts 04-11-2014 04:51 AM

I love your quilts......also like the name "Logan's Trails" or Many Directions of Logan.

Jordan 04-11-2014 05:35 AM

Beautiful quilt. I vote for "Logan's Trail" too.

tessagin 04-11-2014 05:40 AM

How about combining these? Logan's Rainbow Trail!

Beautiful quilts! Logan's Paths.

omacookie 04-11-2014 07:59 AM

Keep Logan's name in it. Beautifully done quilt in squares and HST.

barny 04-11-2014 08:06 AM

I vote for Logans Trail also. All of them are perfect, and so pretty.

twinkie 04-12-2014 03:34 AM

Nice quilts as usual, Don.

Trail to greener pastures?
That's a mouthful but that's what it reminds me of like color of money......
Trail to grandpa?

Calran 04-12-2014 05:25 AM

A Grandfather's Love

msrosecooks 04-12-2014 06:32 AM

How about Logan's Run?

linda faye 04-12-2014 08:29 AM

It's cool to be square and Reach for the Stars

Lissa 04-12-2014 08:50 AM

I love them both. Perhaps this is too girly but Logans quilt looks like...forest magic or forest imagery or...forest glen. Your quilting is always so fresh in ideas and beautiful in construction./lissa

Lissa 04-12-2014 08:53 AM

Logans run appeals to me:)

Carol34446 04-12-2014 09:08 AM

I like Logan's trail and the quilt if wonderful. I am making half square triangle's for my first quilt and I like the plain squares with them. Your GD's quilt is lovely and very girly. Great job as always Don.

Kooklabell 04-12-2014 09:19 AM

To me it looks like a beautiful flowered meadow surrounded by blue streams. So, my thought was "Logan's Meadow". He can lay in his very own meadow :) and dream.
