Donation mini quilts
 

I take my bits and pieces and make minis...
The first two for our local hospital. The dolls measure 3" tall. The Log cabin is made from 3/4" logs.[ATTACH=CONFIG]562454[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]562455[/ATTACH]

These two for another fundraiser. The flying geese were paper pieced and measure 1 x 2" finished. The center square of the second is made from 4P measuring 1/2" finished and hand quilted

I love them all but the flying geese one is my favorite . probably because I can't accurately make a flying geese of any size . like I already said , I love yours.

I have yards of that doll print fabric. Didn't use because no idea how to design . Like your pattern.
Have the clothing to put on dolls so should get to it in summer before it becomes an antique.

Wow! cool quilts. I don't think I'd have the patience (or the skill) to deal with those tiny pieces.

Thanks everyone...for you moratorium followers, do you see why I don't need to buy anymore fabric?....it'll take me a millennium to use what I have at this rate....yikes...

I've mentioned this in other mini threads, but I rarely cut dimensional pieces for the basic blocks. Yes my fabric bins are sorted as small as 3/4", 1".....I will mindlessly sew blocks and then decide what to do with them often using pieces from other
sized bins for setting triangles, squares, borders and binding...

I love them all. You have lots of patience!

Your quilts are so awesome and inspiration for me. I just started participating in the mini swap here on the QB and it is so much fun making really little quilts. I wish there was a special thread for minis just because they are special and your quilts are very special.

Those are sweet. They'll be loved. I still have one from my childhood, and I suspect these will be keepers, too.

I love them all! Do they use them for a fund raiser or decorating? They'd sure add a home-i-ness to a hospital setting.

barnbum...the public buys the quilts, then proceeds go to local projects...a nice way for me to give a little and the community gets a lot...

These are so well done. You should be very proud of yourself.

I admire anyone who can work with such small pieces. I don't consider myself a great piecer, and larger blocks allow me more fudge room LOL Yours are spectacular.

Often quilters will purchase them as they understand the amount of time that goes into them.
