You go, girl! How very nice that you are able to choose the child's personality traits to include in the quilts. They all seem perfect!

JCL in FL 08-31-2011 10:54 AM

You are so thoughtful to do this for them. A special child is a special gift. They are bright and colorful and I know the kids are going to be so happy to see their very own quilt on the bus each day.

Meme2six 08-31-2011 11:28 AM

I grew up in SD where the winters are cold as well, so making the quilts is a great idea and I'm sure the kids will love them and cherish them always. What a wonderful thing you are doing, especially as a family project.

RitaFaye 08-31-2011 01:41 PM

There are so many ways a quilter can share their love for quilting. You have found a special way--children will think they are the greatest. They are beautiful.

What a neat and thoughtful idea. Being from Michigan I know how cold the winters can be. That's why I go to Texas.

audsgirl 08-31-2011 10:23 PM

That's a terrific idea! It will make them feel so special (in a good way!) And it is so great that you know their personalities so each one is unique.

GladGrams 09-01-2011 12:21 AM

As the gram for a special needs little one, I know how much quilts mean! My little guy is autistic and has sensory issues so soft and weighty is his choice.

Bliss 09-01-2011 02:58 AM

Love is a universal language.
You have given some that can be snuggled close to the heart.
Blessings to the givers and receivers.

Im sure Jonathan is delightful! Kayden (my g-baby) is going to be 6 next week and about the same age developmentally. He is truly the joy in my life and my hero! My avatar is me and him about a year ago. <3
