Baywinds- My Bernina 440 seems to be acting up after I broke a needle. She is actually at the shop today for a good once over and hopefully it will come back good as new. I think the timing is slightly off but we will see and I will post about it if I get a definitive answer. I tried all the different things you tried and I am right in the middle of quilting a quilt, of course.

Ditto - sounds like what I do too. Someday!

Im going to have to get this book!! Great job

SueSew 04-10-2013 01:32 AM

I bought that book (after all it was the only FMQ book I hadn't bought yet, desperate to get off square-one) and a LOVE it!!! It got me out of my misery trying to follow patterns chalked on the quilt. I RELAXED!

I did little wave patterns, and clouds, and fiery suns, and leaves...
But I have to say Tartan that your rose is a total stunner. WOW!

Good job on a first try. Keep it up and you should have this going in no time. Says a fellow quilter who is too chicken to even try it! LOL
