Is there a pattern? Hope to make a welcome sign with different months for our DDs.at my rate!it will tale every bit of time left before Christmas.......

, No pattern, I just made all the months the same size to button on the background rectangle. I used different ideas and techniques that I wanted to try on a small scale for each month.

Love your door decoration. You were very creative to make all 12 months, and February is adorable. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. One of the nicest gifts I gave my mom in her retirement facility was a similar idea. Instead of sewing a permanent hanger, my husband made a wooden plaque that she could hang on the wall outside her room. That might solve the fading problem for you. He made the inset 12 1/2" to accommodate some 12" sq. calendar patterns I had from the Wooden Bear and Nancy Halvorsen. I used two strips of adhesive Velcro to hold up the quilt squares. At the end of each month I would send her the next month, so it was a gift that continued to give all year. Turns out the other residents were as anxious as she was to see the next block. Here is the first block in the plaque so you can get an idea.

Super cute. I noticed the darling tatted butterfly too. Such a lost art! But fun to do.
