Default Door-a-Doodle

I found this term on a site for monthly announcements that went on a hanging front door decoration. I made my own patterns and I rotate them at the beginning of each month. They are all about 6 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches and they button on a bigger background that says, Welcome. I thought everyone might like to see what I am putting up today.

What a great idea. Like your heart to do one for each month is wonderful for a front door.

that is adorable. Reminds me I don't think we ever took the Christmas wreath off the front door. :0

I'd love to see it hanging on the larger surround. What a great idea!

I love that especially the tatted butterfly! Did you tat it? I just started tatting again after 20 years and had to learn all over and it is a struggle as the fingers are not as limber as they use to be.

This is so cool! Do you need my address to send it so I can hang it on my door? thanks for sharing.

Okay, here is a picture of the whole thing but it has faded some since the background hangs on the door year round. Making the background with a part polyester fabric would probably keep it's colour better. llweezie, I did tat the butterfly myself from watching youtube videos on needle tatting. I can't manage a tatting shuttle but quite enjoy needle tatting.
