My granddaughter loves her "doodle doll" - it is a little doll that comes with washable markers, and the child can draw on makeup or jewelry, then when they want to redo the drawings, they can toss the doll in the washing machine and all the old drawings come off. She would like her doll to have a sister, but it seems that the manufacturer no longer makes them (they make doodle monsters and doodle pirates and doodle dudes), but no cute little girl dolls. So, I thought of making her one, and wondered what fabric the doll may be made of, to allow the washable marker to not stick at all. I know that washable marker supposedly washes out, but as with most things, what they say, and what happens may be 2 different things. What do you think? What fabric would work best for this? Thanks.

maybe take her markers and try them on some cottons and cotton blends and then give them a wash to see what happens?
