I, finally, finished quilting and binding my DIC. My first free form quilting. Not too bad for a beginner, eh?

Jackie,
Your quilting is WONDERFUL! I say this because I am in the middle of learning to do this myself! There is a definite learning curve and I believe you have mastered it!

Girlfriend that is absolutely beautiful!!! I don't think you're a beginner anymore sweetie!!! You've got this down like a pro. I just love it!!!

wow! that is beautiful and i'm  . i'm trying to freemotion around my flipflops and it's tough!

did you use a long arm?

jacquemoe 03-07-2008 07:36 AM

Thank you Yvonne. I'm coming close to charging a small fee for top quilting pantographs but I guess I'm going to have to take in some charity quilts for practicing free form. It amazes me how nice they look when they are done and you just don't think that while you're doing the work. Top quilting is rather forgiving sometimes.

I got my longarm in December and people have been nice enough to let me practice on their charity quilts and unfinished projects.

jacquemoe, I am VERY impressed! I am trying free motion quilting today and mine doesn't come close to comparison. Yours is gorgeous! I knew you'd be great at this! Teach me!
