Joy, I am amazed, astounded and inspired by this quilt, mostly because you have only been longarming for a mere 6 months?!?! That is a real wow to me. I don't think a longarmer with years of experience could have done a better job.
What is your secret to getting your continuous curves uniform? I seem to be having alot of trouble with those. Some swoop way in and others barely have any curve at all. Do you put a reference mark for the deepest part of the curve like a dot? Or do you simply use the width of the hopping foot? Right now I am trying to do it freehand with no marking. |

OMG that is beautiful! Did you hand quilt it or was it machine quilted? I have one "in waiting" to be finished but need to get it basted because it's getting harder & harder for me to get down on the floor & do that. But yours is absolutely beautiful. You have a lot to be proud of
