I made this for my daughter and her hubby for their 11th wedding anniversary. It was supposed to be for their 10th but it took longer to make than I thought it would.
I hand pieced the blocks which were made from Moda jelly rolls. |
Beautiful quilt. Don't know if I could get a double wedding ring together or not. I bet they were thrilled with it.
|
What a beautiful quilt and your workmanship is wonderful. What a treasure for them. Thank you for sharing.

This is my favorite pattern and hope one day to start. I know it will take a long time to complete. Yours is amazing.
Hope you are very proud!!! |
That is awesome.
|
Gorgeous!

The DWR is one of my all time favorites. I have the templates and the fabric, just a little unsure of myself right now. Love your workmanship.
|
Stunning! Did you paper piece or cut out the pieces by hand? That is my next project after my current UFO is finished. It will be paper-pieced, since I tried to cut those little rascals once by hand and had a miserable time.
|
That is very beautiful. I have 2 double wedding rings that I am working one. One is a paper piece with a star in the middle of the ring and the other is a traditional dwr. I can't even begin to imagine hand quilting them tho. Kuddos to you
Thanks for sharing, Sherryl Candlequilter |

The first bed quilt I made was a DWR for our daughter when she married. Thanks for the reminder! Your quilt is lovely and I love your colors!
|
That is beautiful! I still have two to make for my kids.
|
That is a beautiful quilt! You did a wonderful job. :-)

That's is a beautiful quilt. I've wanted to make a DWR for a long time, but I'm not sure I have the skills required. There's a version of it in the recent McCall's Quilting. I would love to make it. I have a purchased DWR quilt on my bed now that is falling apart. I've had it for about 15 years I think. It's way past time to replace it. Maybe someday...

Beautiful! The thought of making one of these one day is part of what started me quilting!!! You did a great job!
|
That is beautiful! I've heard this is a hard quilt to do...matching up everything (why I've never even thought about trying it!), but yours is excellent. Great job and I know they will love and treasure it.
