Dr Seuss just for fun!

http://www.quiltinghaven.com/Smileys/popos/smiley.gif I love the Dr. Seuss fabrics and started collecting the panels and various prints as they would go on sale. Well after months of working on the Crazy Diamond quilt I decided I needed a break and to do something fun.
I mixed and matched pictures from the panels together to create this 40X48 quilt. I have some Dr. Seuss minkee for the back and will probably sell it. It only took a little of over 1 day to do the first one and I am 1/2 way through the next one. Had a great time making this as there was little to no seam matching |
Even though I've never been of fan of Dr. Seuss, I have to say I love the quilt!!! Very nice and colorful.

Very very cute! I just finished a top for the Cat in the Hat (with some friends thrown in for good measure) last night. I have a friend who wants to buy it, and I'm saving for a new machine so I think I'll sell it to her. :-D

This quilt is hysterical! Great job of picking fabrics and turning elements of the quilt a little. It would have taken me a year to just figure out what fabric to use where. Love it!

Definitely a great idea. I bought some of the fabric while in the states as all of my kids loved his books, and read and read them... but didn't know what to do with them. Thanks so much for the beautiful quilt pictures!
