"Dresden Blues" is COMPLETELY DONE!
 

Posted a pic of just the top a while back, and had promised to post again when finished. Had a LA'er at my local quilt shop to quilt it for me, my first top to have done, no way was I going to tackle this one! All I have is a DSM! Just finished the shams to go with it, this is a queen bed it's on, made for a double bed. It's a wedding gift for my oldest son who is getting married next Feb. The bridal shower is this saturday, can't wait to show it off! I really don't want to take it off of my bed! LOL!

Sorry ya'll, I tried to post a couple more pics, one of a close up of the quilting on the front, and one of the cross-stitched label I made for it, but they won't upload! Oh well!

Go for it! I'm not that great at quilting, I just made up the pattern as I went with this one. I didn't even know how to measure and cut for the half blocks once I decided to set it on point! After I had cut the whole blocks in half, and made them work, I read somewhere about how to measure and cut for them! LOL! Like I said on my original post, the Lord was with me on this one! Thank you Jesus! I'm thinking of doing another one for ME with all purples and white! Wouldn't that look awesome?!

Well that's good, but all I know how to do is stitch in the ditch, and cross-hatching. I just have an old Kenmore, about 45 yrs old, only had zig-zag, straight, and a couple other stitches on it. No special feet or nothing! I just recently found out I could drop the feed dogs- I didn't even know what feed dogs was! LOL!
