Dresden Christmas Table Topper
 

Just finished this dresden plate christmas table topper. Got inspiration from someone's avatar that has a dresden plate where the blades are made with two fabrics. Stitched it right sides together with the red fabric, added fusible interfacing, turned inside out, added circle, and stitched around each blade. I'm liking it!

I have a large Dresden Plate from experimenting with sizes I want to make for center of dining table. Just need to stop making quilts long enough to finish it up.

Your topper is beautiful and you did a great job. I really love it. My DIL has a gorgeous tree skirt made with this same pattern that her sister made for her about 20 years ago. Her sister used striped Christmas fabrics and it looks spectacular. I would love to make one. What is the size of your topper? Where did you find the pattern?
