This is the pattern that led me to make the Dresden Plate Basket. I figured if I could make this, I could make the basket.
My First Dresden Plate, It came out bigger than I expected. 20 x 20 |
Great job. I like your Spring colors!

That is beautiful! I love the way you alternated the solid and print. Very different look but a beautiful look!!!
|
Perfect for a table with nice color and contrast as a centerpiece over another cloth.

Fabulous fabric choices.
Aren't stripes great? They do all the work! |
That is absolutely beautiful - I never would have thought to use a print like that, but it really gives it a wonderful "punch". Great work!
|
Very, very nice!

Very pretty, and love the greens and browns on it...and I really not into greens...

Love how you fussy cut your print fabric. Makes a very striking Dresden plate. Excellent job.

Thank you so much for posting this picture. I love it.
Dresden Plates are a favorite of mine. I have some of the print you used. I only have a half a yard and couldn't figure out anything to do with it. Now, I know I'm going to make this beautiful plate for a table runner. |

Now, I know I'm going to make this beautiful plate for a table runner. It took more than a yard to make the original Dresden Plate, so I alternated with the green fabric. I don't know how far you will go with just half a yard. But I am just a beginner quilter. Perhaps I didn't cut well. |
Lovely! I can't wait to see the finnished quilt.

Only half of the Dresden Plate is used (lower half) If all were sewn together it would be a round circle/plate |
