So I made my dresden plates and I show it to my boyfriend who then tells "me they look like little ties"....he is so cute. I always find it amazing how men can see different from women. Here is a picture of my dresden plate using thimbleberries and moda fabrics.

Beautiful colors. I just bought a dresden ruler to make one myself.

I cut my dresden plates from a die I ordered from Accuquilt. I have the Studio and I love it. I also had a custom dresden plate made, its a larger version of the one they sell. I'm going to use it to make a lap quilt. I have attached a picture of how my quilt will look when putting all 13 dresden's together. i'm working on other quilt blocks to fill in around it. I had to stop working on it recently as I am making christmas projects. Pretty soon I will continue and when its all done, I will post a picture of the finished item. Thank you all for the nice compliments.
