Here are pictures of the Dresden Square quilt I made for my sister. It is hand quilted and Queen size to fit like a bedspread. I had to add onto the original pattern to make it large enough to go to the floor.

What a beautiful variation of the Dresden. Beautiful colors, too. The shams just add to it. Thanks for sharing.

What a neat pattern. I have to bookmark this, because I have always wanted to do the dresden plate, but am afraid of making it come out even at the end and the circle middle. Great job.

Patricia48 04-03-2011 02:11 PM

Never again will I quilt by hand that size quilt unless it is for myself. Ha A lot of the quilting doesn't show up in the pictures expecially on the top. Lots of medallions quilted in the bare spaces plus the crosshatching

Patricia48 04-03-2011 02:12 PM

Would be glad to send you the pattern if you want it

Lucymae 04-03-2011 02:14 PM

Stupid thing posted twice, so I'm changing this answer. Looks like a nice way to use up a scrap pile.
