Dresden
 

The first photo is my very first Dresden and first try at free motion. It didn't quite line up that well, my sister loved it so it found a home. The second photo is one someone asked me to do for a benefit . Same pattern but oh so different.

great quilts. I really am partial to the traditional one. I have one haunting me to get finished. so hate getting started. did it yearsssss ago, when we had t turn under the edges. now here sit the blocks, and I either have to glue them down, iron them down, or sew something on the back side. ohhhh decisions.

Yes they are sewn onto the background fabric, I just alternated the black (same material as the background) with the neon color fabric. It was fun to see it come together.

I omitted the points too, that may be why they may not look like the same pattern
