Hi, thank you for all the kind words. The centres are dresden appliqué designs done on an embroidery machine. The smaller one was just a little too small to cover the centre, so I enlarged it. Not wanting to waste the smaller one ,I put it in top. I then satin stitched them on to the main dresden. The back is just felt cut a quarter of an inch larger than the dresden once the SID and outer edge was stitched down. Hope that helps.
