Dresden Table Toppers.
 

These are a Christmas present for my SIL. Hope she likes them.

They are real pretty. I have not tried dresden yet. I'm a little afraid of it. some day I will give it a try.

Okay, I will ask since I don't think anyone else has or didn't see it. How did you do the centers? I have never seen a center done like that and I think it is absolutely stunning. Can you tell us pattern or how to do? Thanks. Hope you see this. BTW:::: Love your dresdens.

Is this a kit or just a pattern?

Hi, thank you for all the kind words. The centres are dresden appliqué designs done on an embroidery machine. The smaller one was just a little too small to cover the centre, so I enlarged it. Not wanting to waste the smaller one ,I put it in top. I then satin stitched them on to the main dresden. The back is just felt cut a quarter of an inch larger than the dresden once the SID and outer edge was stitched down. Hope that helps.

Love them-dresdens are one of my favorite blocks and love the colors you used. Lucky SIL!
