Well......if you show us, I am sure we will like it. Ah ha, it arrived just as I was posting this. Now that I see it, yes, I do like it. Great scrappy plates, and nicely balanced too.

Oh, gosh, that's beautiful!. I've not done a Dresden yet. It looks so warm and inviting. Great work!

SAHM 08-01-2009 10:01 AM

Wow - I still haven't got the hang of triangles, I have never even attempted circles... that's gorgeous. Love the fabrics you picked too.

gaigai 08-01-2009 10:02 AM

Beautiful! Good job!

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 08-01-2009 10:04 AM

I don't have the patience for those blocks. maybe someday :)

Mousie 08-01-2009 10:07 AM

woo hoo, Dresden is definitely in my top 10! yours is yummy. My monitor shows a pink border. I love pink. It's great, if it's not pink

Lainee 08-01-2009 10:51 AM

Dresden is also on my want to do list. Very nice and like the swirly white on white background material.

Shadow Dancer 08-01-2009 10:54 AM

It's beautiful!! I love it! Does it need a home, mine is available!! lol

Eddie 08-01-2009 10:56 AM

Beautiful selection of colors, and you put it together great!

2wheelwoman 08-01-2009 10:57 AM

Absolutely positively beautiful.

Bill'sBonBon 08-01-2009 11:17 AM

I love it. The dresden is going to be my next quilt when I finish the baby quilt I am doing. The colors are great and the background material just sets it all off so the desden pops out.

Too Long! And I really couldn't get the circles right. I may still redo them before quilting. I get bored working on one project. So I did it off and on.
I won't be doing another, even though I really like it now that it is done. :D

mcdaniel023 08-01-2009 04:10 PM

Thanks everyone for your compliments. It is truly appreciated.

Very bright...I think you've done a great job...I'm not a big fan of pink, but with quilts like this I'm definitely being won over!

Love it - congratulations on doing a dresden plate quilt.

Iluv2quilt 08-01-2009 05:32 PM

I really like your Dresdens. Once I get past triangles and points I'm going to try it! Thanks for the inspiration!

Marcia 08-01-2009 08:17 PM

Wonderful!!

Gorgeous top! I love Dresden plates. This reminds me that I've got to get busy on mine. I found some finished plates on eBay. They're hand sewn and the fabrics look vintage but I have no idea how old they might be. I thought this would be a quick way to get the top done. Just applique to the background, right? Wrong! When they arrived I found they didn't all lay flat. So now I'm taking them all apart and re-sewing. Oh well, it makes a nice hand project.

sewaholic 08-01-2009 10:53 PM

Dresden Plate might not be the most unique pattern but no matter how often I see one, I love looking at a DP quilt and yours is very, very pretty. I love doing the pattern and find it very relaxing. You might have given me a push to get my tools out and start one for the holidays.

Chele 08-04-2009 01:15 PM

That's so pretty! I've always loved Dresden Plates. I love the fabrics you used and the pink sashing. Swoon! Make more!

jljack 08-04-2009 01:20 PM

Wonderful colors!! Great job. I personally love this pattern -- it is really so versatile, and looks so different with each selection of fabrics.
