Oh my goodness is all I can say. I love Drunkard's Path, one of the favorites. Some day I'll tackle a full size quilt.

Thank you for pointing this out. I too ask a certified quilt appraiser about a vintage top's value if it were to be machine quilted, hand quilted or left unquilted. She informed me that either machine or hand quilted would not impair the value as long as the quilting was done well. Leaving it unquilted would actually lower the value.

I love that pattern. When I was first married I lived in the country and a dear old lady lived across the road.I had no other neighbors and she would invite me over to watch a soap opera every day.She hand pieced all her tops,and this is the first one I ever saw her do.I was 18.She was 84.She was the first person to inspire me to quilt.That was over 40 years ago.I still miss that sweet old lady named "Nettie".
