The colors are spectacular! |
OMG - that is gorgeous. Did you use fabric paint for the turquoise? It is exquisite.

Debbie-I quilt with a domestic machine-a TL-98Q-Juki. I marked the center design and the butterflys using stencils and marked a few lines then did free motion quilting. I FMQed the centers of e feathers too. I was a little nervous doing that but it worked out well!!

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! How did you do that? Did you use a long arm or a regular sewing machine? Did you mark the quilt for quilting. It's just beautiful...really amazing quilting!
|
The quilt measures 23 1/2" and no appliqué. :-)

I really enjoyed looking at your beautiful quilt. It is truly lovely. The little amount of colour you put in makes this quilt so very special. I just love it. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind comments!! I've been doing a LOT of practicing. Diane Guadynski suggested practicing on actual quilts because you will do your best job. So that's what I do now!!

It is more then gorgeous! Lovely! I just can't imagine doing something like that and so perfect. I am envious of anyone who can do this so perfectly.
|
GammaLou-I may enter this little quilt in the Oregon State Fair next summer and there is no Trapunto. The center looks that way because the surrounding area has more and closer quilting!! It really makes the center pop!!
