Durango

This is my 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge quilt. I finally got all the quilting done, binding on and hanging sleeve sewn on. Now it just needs a label. I named it Durango because it reminds me of the turquoise jewelry and the beautiful blue skys of Durango Colorado where my mom's oldest sister lived with her family!!! Enjoy :^)

WOW! That is beautiful. Couldn't take my eyes off it for a long time.

WOW! You did a great job on this quilt!!! The colors and quilting are both wonderful. Did you do trapunto for the center motif?
I've been following the 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge, and have learned a lot from it, but have been up to my neck in other projects and haven't been completing the monthly challenges. |
OH MY - just fabulous - speechless here!!!!!
|
That is gorgeous!
|
Very pretty!

No, I didn't do trapunto in the center. It is just a bit puffier because of the smaller quilting around it!! I used a wool batt that has really good loft too!!
