Rosehawk 01-12-2014 08:49 PM

VERY pretty. How are you doing the arcs and all that?

My sister wants a DWR for her wedding in Jan 2015, and I told her I'd give it a try. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it so I don't drive myself crazy in the process.

Girlfriend 01-12-2014 09:13 PM

We come to this website to be "bored"!

It's beautiful. Great choice of color.

Annz 01-12-2014 09:28 PM

Fabric placement is great.

Katiedid2 01-12-2014 09:44 PM

Piecing and quilting all done on embroidery machine....then sew 4 blocks together for the big block... plus border pieces on sides. I am not pro at all... worked at it till it was good enuff for me. Used scrapes.. my favorite kind of quilts... this is for oldest daughter.

coachmatthewsvhs 01-13-2014 03:38 AM

are you hand joining the back? Or did you just quilt as you go through the front and plan on tying the sandwich?

Gannyrosie 01-13-2014 05:30 AM

It's coming along and we're loving it. Fantastic job.

djmat 01-13-2014 05:33 AM

I know that it isn't perfected yet but it looks amazing to me. I love my emb machine and have the largest hoop out there I think so doing this would be great. Are you considering selling the pattern. Is the FMG built into the digitized design too. Interested fans would like to know, like me.

Ive only digitized one thing and still working on perfecting it. The happy daisy on here, I've changed it and added petals so that it looked more like a daisy but the first stitch out looked really good. I was so happy with myself. Of course I used the wizard in 5D Pro to help speed the process but feel it needs some added touches so I'm still planning on modifying it. You did a great job

I am intrigued by the scalloped-like edges on the WRs. Could you give us a close-up picture of it and tell us how you accomplished the yummy look? I love it!
