I just finished this on the longarm. N.B. hand pieced it and sent it to me to longarm. I used the two patterns she choose plus did free motion work on it.

Work done on my Nolting Fun Quilter and with the Side Saddle computer program!

Love the colors she used.

I love DWR's. I only have one question, was this pieced or appliqued. The quilting really makes this quilt shine in all aspects. I am wanting to do a DWR but not sure how to approach it.

coastienest 07-20-2011 04:02 PM

I love love it. I like the single arcs and the colors. Thanks for the info. I will stash that in my little memory bank.

Becca Bear 07-20-2011 06:18 PM

Absolutely beautiful! I love the colors in this quilt!

VaNella 07-20-2011 06:22 PM

I used the accuquilt to cut the arcs. The fabric is Hoffman 1895 batik on an unbleached muslin background. The kids (my son and his bride) are moving to New York so I wanted a traditional pattern that would do well in a modern apartment.
